We adopted!!! (well kinda)
We got a black lab, her name is Ellie, from a friend of Eric's. She is nine months old and a great dog. She has been to obedience school and seems to have caught on to it pretty good. Eric is excited to train her to be his "duck hunting" dog. She is definetly not the "lap" dog that I was hoping for, but that is ok.

Cute dog. I am jealous. With the big park behind us it would be super fun to have a dog to play with. She is probably fun for the girls too. The best of both worlds. Eric gets a hunting dog and the girls get a new best friend.
